| Material Specification | Recycled HDPE or High-Density Polyethylene R-HDPE is a sturdy, semi-transparent plastic with a matte surface. R-HDPE has a good water and oxygen barrier and is also reasonably crack and fall resistant. R-HDPE is the most used plastic in the manufacture of plastic bottles. R-HDPE is generally well resistant to acid and alkaline products and alcohol. R-HDPE is also resistant to a broad spectrum of chemicals, with the exception of some solvents such as turpentine and benzene. R-HDPE is not suitable for distilled oils.
