100 ml Dropper glass clear DIN18, 100g

100 ml Dropper glass clear DIN18, 100g is a round bottle which, thanks to the sturdy glass, is user-friendly and attractive. Due to the transparent colour, the bottle is completely clear and the liquid inside can be seen; if it is coloured, the colour will shine through the bottle.

Closures:

The bottle has a DIN18 closure. For this screw neck, we have perfectly fitting closures which have been used for several years as combination.
  • Screw caps
  • Screw caps with plug
  • Spray pumps
  • Dropper pipettes

These are available in various colours in stock at our warehouse in Groningen (Netherlands).

Material:

During repackaging and transport of glass products, they may become damaged. Some damage or contamination is not always immediately visible. We advise cleaning all glass packaging before use with water and soap. Do this with the opening facing downwards so that the contamination can drain out.

Maximum Temperature:

Glass is suitable for high temperatures; for sterilising in the oven, a maximum temperature of 130°C is recommended. Prolonged exposure to these temperatures can still damage or deform the bottles. Glass is very sensitive to temperature shocks, so ensure gradual temperature changes. Glass is recyclable and can therefore be reused to make new packaging.

Food Safety:

The bottle is food safe and an excellent choice for companies and individuals looking for reliable packaging. Suitable for filling foodstuffs, beverages, cosmetics, cleaning agents, pharmaceutical and chemical products. All raw materials we use, except for recycled HDPE products, are approved raw materials according to various European and American regulations that may come into contact with food products.

Shape:

Round: we call a bottle round if the base of the bottle forms a perfect circle; the indicated diameter is measured on the outside of the bottle at its widest point. Our round bottles can have different shoulders; by shoulders we mean the part where the bottle narrows at the top to gradually transition into the neck. The most common variants are a rounded or sharp shoulder. Rounded means there is a radius on the bottle and the side flows smoothly into a slanted top which connects to the neck. The sharp shoulder is a hard angle after which the bottle slopes sharply to the neck. Lastly, the Bullet round has a conical shoulder, which starts halfway up the bottle and gradually tapers into a pointed shape towards the neck without a clear edge.

Glass is a solid product made of sand, soda ash and limestone. At high temperatures (above 500° Celsius), glass loses its high density and becomes bendable. When cooled, glass becomes very hard and will break if too much force is applied to it. Glass is moderately resistant to rapid temperature changes. Do not bring glass into contact with a temperature shock. Glass cannot withstand the pressure of expanding liquid in a freezer. For example, do not use glass to freeze juices. Do not quickly heat glass taken from the fridge. Such a temperature shock could potentially cause (invisible) breakage. Similarly, do not place hot glass in a fridge. Also avoid other temperature shocks.
Glass does not react with other materials, making it extremely suitable for use in labs and food packaging. Products that react with glass include, but are not limited to, hydrofluoric acid (HF) and concentrated phosphoric acid (H3PO4). In addition, the surface of glass is degraded if it is exposed to alkalis (and ammonia gases) at higher temperatures for a long time.
Special seals are required for preserving glass products (bottling in a weck jar). These should have a rubber ring and metal seal. There are many manuals available online explaining the bottling process.
Glass can easily be reused. After cleaning in the dishwasher or with soda water, it can be sterilised by boiling the empty bottles or jars for 15 minutes while the glass products are completely submerged in water. After cooking and cooling, it must be processed immediately. Do not put the cold glass products directly into boiling water due to temperature shock. Allow the products to warm up in the water.
Repacking and transporting glass products may damage them. Some damage or contamination is not always immediately visible. We recommend cleaning all glass containers in soapy water before use. In order to allow dirt to precipitate, do this with the opening facing down.
Due to its very hard state, glass is breakable. For this reason, there is always a risk of glass shards. We advise you to wash glass products thoroughly upside down before every use, including the first use after receiving your package. We do not recommend using a damaged glass product again.
